David Shirk

President/CEO

Red Blade Media founder and CEO David Shirk is an industry veteran with 20+ years of experience in the CD mastering and manufacturing environment. Dave is the President and Chief Engineer of Sonorous Mastering Inc, and has mastered upward of 5,000 projects in his career. Dave attended the College For Recording Arts (San Francisco) in 1985 and has held positions with Russian Hill Recording, McCune Audio-Visual and Clair Brothers Audio Enterprise. Dave’s venture into CD Mastering & Manufacturing began in 1989 at American Helix Technology Corporation, which started out in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as an independently- owned facility. Helix was later purchased by KAO Infosystems Optical Products Division and grew to become the third largest supplier of CD Media on the planet with plants in PA, Massachusetts, Canada, California, Ireland and Japan. Tony Amato

Art Director/Image Development

Tony is the graphic artist responsible for everything visual at Red Blade Media. He is the President of Amato Image Design and has over 10 years of experience working in the graphic/image design business. Tony graduated with honors from Collins College in 1997, and has held positions with Brookson Design in Phoenix and LNA Advertising in Fountain Hills as an art director. Tony is a multiple Creativity, and Summit Award winning designer and is internationally recognized for his outstanding work in CD print media. Michael Woodall

Photographer

Mike is the staff photographer for Red Blade Media and he is the go-to guy for high level print and advertising work in the valley of the sun. Mike is a regular contributor to Phoenix Home & Garden and Phoenix Magazine. He is comfortable working with clients ranging from rapper/actor Ice T, Singer BeBe Wynans and Guitarist Steve Hunter to Senator John McCain and AZ Governor Jan Brewer. Mike shoots for corporate accounts such as Oakley, DMJM Architectural, Sunt Construction, Starwood Resorts and Concord Records. Mike is easy to work with and highly creative, he constantly exceeds client expectations at every angle.

 

 

Ken Skaggs

Web Development

Ken is the web development specialist on the Red Blade Media team. He brings a diverse, highly creative background that started at Arizona State University as a music major. As a pro musician, Ken has toured and recorded with many acts over a 35 year span, most notably a 20 year stint as guitarist with the Glen Campbell Band. As his career as a touring and studio musician blossomed, Ken fueled his other passion by attended Collins College and studying computer graphics and web design. Embracing internet technologies early-on, Ken has been doing web design for 10 years and continually stays on the cutting edge of web development trends. Email ken@flat7.com
